When I first started this blog my primary purpose was to write down the story of our autism adventure. It has been an amazing journey of ups and downs. We have grown closer to God and to each other through this adventure.
Autism is still very much a part of our life, but it doesn't consume us like it once did. Ryne still has his struggles, especially in the social arena and OCD tendencies, but now we address those struggles within the context of parenting and homeschooling.
If your autism adventure is just beginning, hang in there! The early days are so difficult, but you do not have to travel it alone. Pour your heart out to God and He will give you strength. I wrote about a very special moment where God just flooded me with His faithfulness. I hope its message is a blessing to you.
An Autism Devotion
For those of you interested in the details of our autism adventure, go grab a cup of tea or coffee and find a comfy spot. I wrote a lot! Much has changed in the world of autism in the past decade in terms of availability of resources. Yet even with these changes, the road is not easy and it helps to read about the experiences of those who have already traveled the path. May God bless you on your journey.

Autism: Then and Now
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."Hebrews 12:1
