Welcome back to homeschooling!!! Just reading your words about embracing it is encouraging to me. Thank you so much for your kind words.Kelliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16095729633573268457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6181995613012845425.post-34166394503708474842015-01-11T12:27:25.016-06:002015-01-11T12:27:25.016-06:00Kellie, I can really relate to your 'blogging ...Kellie, I can really relate to your 'blogging frequency'. I try to make one a month. For me, just for me. It's kind of my way to reconcile the month. We are back homeschooling after a 2 year stint in public. My youngest stayed in public, but my oldest came home. We do classical conversations and I tutor IEW classes. We have identified dyslexia and the timing needed to involve immediate intervention. No public or private for that matter can turn on a dime, and I've always wanted them home any way.
There are days of 'just us 2' that I yearn for my privacy, and his independence, but it is a season for me. I try to be patient. But when the 'snow day' comes, and it does occasionally, I embrace it! I roll and make snow angels in His providential blessing, be it a surprise fieldtrip or a coupon for DQ. You have gone long and hard for 8 years, and the world is a better place, even as small as your contribution may feel at times, for your commitment to your children. Thanks for posting these beautiful pictures, for commenting on Mt. Hope's post, that's where I was reminded to say hello to Blue House Academy. Warmest, safest, blessed season- this January- this New Year. Gorgeous photos...so peaceful. Thank you for sharing. I didn't get out in it that day, baked cookies and watched "White Christmas," but Hannah did and took some good pics in her iPhone. That incident sounds scary.

I've missed your blogging but can say about myself almost exactly what you had to say ... hardest semester ever ... lots of posts in my mental queue ... no time for even short blurbs or pictures.

Love you.
